Histology and Molecular Biology course provides fundamental basic knowledge of histology and cell biology. The course provides students with basic knowledge of different aspects of cellular and tissue parts (membrane, cytoskeleton, and matrix). Consequently, it enables students to understand the properties of cells and their interactions with one another as components of tissues and organs, and how structure and function correlate at the microscopic level. Furthermore, it enables students to comprehend the histology and properties of the basic human tissues, which are epithelial, connective, muscular, and nervous tissues. Additionally, it enables students to understand the normal structure and function of various organs, and to differentiate their histological structures from each other through examination.
