Foreign language requirements for postgraduate master's and doctoral students at Jordan University of Science and Technology
Every student wishing to enroll in postgraduate programs at the university is required to prove his or her success in one of the English language exams (TOEFL (IBT), IELTS, or an equivalent exam held by the university), German or French. So that the minimum scores are as follows:
1 - English language exams

3- If the student is unable to pass one of the above exams, he may study a 6-hour qualification program at the university. In this case, the qualifying program must be studied and passed within two semesters of joining the university (except for the summer semester), and the mark of success is considered according to the specialization as follows:

4- The student may sit for the equivalent exam while studying the qualifying program
5- Exempt from the foreign language requirement is for students who passed a foreign language exam in graduate studies programs in Jordanian universities as a condition for admission to a master's degree when they join doctoral programs or a new master's program.
