First: Application Deadlines for Graduate Programs
1. Master's Programs:
- Applications for admission to master's programs for the first semester must be submitted according to the academic calendar.
- Applications for admission to master's programs for the second semester must be submitted according to the academic calendar.
2. Higher Specialty Program in Dentistry:
- Applications for admission to the Higher Specialty Program in Dentistry are accepted during March each year.
- The entrance exam for the Higher Specialty Program in Dentistry is held at the end of March each year.
3. Higher Specialty Program in Medicine and Dentistry - Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery:
- Applications for admission to the Higher Specialty Program in Medicine are accepted during March each year.
- The program begins in early July each year.
Second: Thesis Deadlines:
- Appointment of a Supervisor: The student must appoint a main supervisor for their thesis by the end of the second semester of enrollment.
- Submission of a Research Proposal for the Master's Thesis: The proposal must be submitted by the end of the third semester of enrollment.
- Formation of the Defense Committee: The defense committee must be formed six weeks before the scheduled defense date.
- Submission of the Master's Thesis: The student must provide the defense committee with copies of the thesis at least three weeks before the defense date.
- Final Date for Master's Thesis Defense: The final date for defending master's theses in the first and second semesters is set according to the academic calendar approved by the Council of Deans and published on the university's main website.
- Final Submission of Thesis Copies: If the student passes the defense, they must submit the required copies of the thesis to the Graduate Studies College within eight weeks of the defense date.
