Q: When should a supervisor be appointed for the master's thesis?
A: A student's master's thesis supervisor must be appointed before the end of the second semester for joining the program, not counting the summer semesters.
Q: When should a proposal (plan) be submitted to the Deanship of Graduate Studies?
A: A copy of the thesis proposal (plan) must be submitted to the Dean of Graduate Studies no later than the end of the third semester for the student to enroll in the program without counting the summer semesters.
Q: Is it permissible to change the supervisor?
A: It is permissible to change the supervisor for special circumstances acceptable to the Graduate Studies Committee in the concerned college, subject to the approval of the first principal supervisor, and in this case the change is made in the same manner in which the supervisor was appointed.
