The Dean of the College of Engineering at Jordan University of Science and Technology, Professor Doraid Dalalah, met on Thursday, November 20, 2025, with the newly admitted students for the academic year 2025, as part of the welcoming event organized by the college for new students.

The Dean welcomed the students and congratulated them on their admission to Jordan University of Science and Technology, emphasizing that the college will provide them with a supportive academic environment to achieve excellence and success. He also presented a comprehensive overview of the college and its history, the engineering programs it offers, as well as the services provided to students, whether academic, administrative, or supportive of their university journey.

During the meeting, the Dean offered a set of important academic tips, along with guidance related to university life and how to benefit from the opportunities and resources available on campus, contributing to a balanced and fruitful university experience.

The meeting was attended by the Vice Deans, Assistant Dean, and department heads, who took part in answering students’ questions and guiding them, thereby enhancing their readiness to begin their academic journey at the university.

The TORC team from the College of Engineering also participated in the event, contributing to organizing activities and preparing interactive competitions for the students. They served as positive role models for their fellow newcomers through their initiative and teamwork.
