The Faculty of Engineering is the oldest and largest faculty at Jordan University of Science and Technology. With 162 faculty members, 67 supporting staff and 61 research and teaching labs, the Faculty thrives to qualify competent engineers for the local, regional and international job markets. The Faculty adopts a dynamic strategic plan that aims at guarantying quality assurance of its programs and keeping its excellence and leadership in engineering education in Jordan and the region. Towards this end, three undergraduate degree programs in the Faculty of Engineering have been accredited by the
Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET of the United States of America. These programs are Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, and Industrial Engineering (
see article).
