​In cooperation with the Jordan Atomic Energy Commission (JAEC) Dr. Ghadeer Malkawi from the nuclear engineering department gave lectures on the subjects of Radiometric Quantities and Interaction Coefficients, Dosimetry and Radiation Protection quantities, Radiation Detectors, and principles of radiation detection for a group of participants of Postgraduate Educational Course in Radiation Protection and the Safety of Radiation Sources (PGEC). This six-month PGEC course, which is sponsored by IAEA, targets young professionals at the graduate level or equivalent and helps them build a sound basis in radiation protection and the safety of radiation sources
