This course responds to the anticipated huge impact AI is expected to make on all aspects of engineering systems, including their preconceptual design, optimization, operation, safety and security.

Recent years have shown a strong need to supplement educational curricula with courses that expose the details and functionalities of AI techniques, and help the students appreciate/assess their value for the various engineering applications.
