Students from the Nuclear Engineering Department conducted a scientific visit to the Jordan Research and Training Reactor on Thursday, April 9, 2026, as part of the “Nuclear Reactor Laboratory Experiments” course.
The visit aimed to familiarize students with the reactor’s facilities and operational principles, as well as to provide them with hands-on experience through conducting a practical scientific experiment to enhance their knowledge in nuclear reactor engineering.
The students were accompanied by Dr. Ghadeer Malkawi and Eng. Mutaz Marji from the Nuclear Engineering Department, who supervised the visit and guided the students throughout the activity . This visit reflects the department’s commitment to integrating theoretical knowledge with practical experience and strengthening students’ skills through experiential learning.
