The Department of Nuclear Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering hosted Engineer Ahmad Al-Shloul, a graduate of the department, to deliver a lecture based on his post-graduation experience and personal journey. In his talk, he addressed the fundamentals of scientific research and the integration between nuclear and renewable energy within hybrid systems.

Engineer Ahmad Al-Shloul presented a seminar that included an overview of Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC) systems, both open and closed cycle types. He also discussed the advantages of integrating such systems with nuclear reactor systems, highlighting the resulting improvements in reactor efficiency.

The lecture, attended by several faculty members and students from the department, concluded with a discussion session where audience questions and inquiries were addressed. The seminar also featured a dialogue with the speaker about his experience and professional success stories as a graduate of the Department of Nuclear Engineering.
