"Amtea - his luggage" is studying the possibility of reducing the production of at least 12,700 tons of cardboard in the first 9 years of implementation if traditional packaging methods using cardboard or paper and plastic are dispensed with, as it contributes to reducing the environmental burden and mitigating the increase in global warming.
The baggage project competes in this year's challenge of the global Hult Prize competition, which is about climate and the environment, and the project won first place at the level of the Jordanian University of Science and Technology, to qualify for the international competition in Toronto, Canada, and also participated in the National Forum for Young Entrepreneurs and Innovators 2020 under the organization of the Jordanian Ministry of Youth, to get the Fifth place out of 511 entrepreneurial projects, and they received 1,000 Jordanian dinars in funding from UNICEF to start implementing their project as soon as possible. In addition, the project was chosen to participate in the activities of the Industrial Engineers Foundation Conference at the University of Jordan.
And after qualifying the project for the international stage in (Toronto - Canada) to compete with 79 teams from prestigious universities in the field of business from all over the world and have won the first place and qualified for the private business accelerator at Hult Prize in (London - Britain) to adopt the project for a period of 6 weeks there and Complete their stage to win the Million Dollar Grand Prize.
