On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, the Department of Industrial Engineering had the honor of welcoming Engineer Thaer Batarseh from JoPetrol in a discussion session with the Industrial Engineering Department.

The visit focused on discussing the skills needed for industrial engineers to succeed in the job market, the challenges they may face, and how to prepare for them. Emphasis was placed on the role of industrial engineering in operations management and systems development, as well as the essential skills that industrial engineers must possess, including effective communication, teamwork, idea presentation, critical thinking, problem-solving, time management, and flexibility."
