The Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) has joined the YIELD: Youth Innovators Entrepreneurship Launchpad for Deep Tech initiative—an EU-funded project launched in September 2025 under the Interreg NEXT MED programme. YIELD is designed to empower young entrepreneurs across the Mediterranean region, particularly in the Blue, Green, and Circular Economy sectors.
Project Overview
The YIELD project brings together partners from Egypt, Greece, Italy, Jordan, and Palestine to create a collaborative platform for innovation. It targets aspiring entrepreneurs aged 18–30, providing them with tailored training, expert mentorship, and access to transnational networks. The goal is to help transform innovative ideas into sustainable, tech-driven enterprises, strengthening regional economic and environmental resilience.
Key Objectives
· Enhance entrepreneurial and technical skills through structured capacity-building programmes.
· Foster cross-border cooperation and knowledge sharing among Mediterranean nations.
· Support the creation and scaling of youth-led deep-tech startups in sustainability-focused sectors.
· Promote a more connected and capable regional innovation ecosystem.
