Second Jordanian International Biomedical Engineering Conference (JIBEC)

Organized by the Biomedical Engineering Department, this event aimed to exchange expertise and link students to the job market. It started at 11:00 AM with a speech by the Head of the Department, followed by presentations and panel discussions with industry specialists. A coffee break and sponsor tours provided excellent direct networking opportunities. The second half included interactive discussions between students and JUST graduates, along with scientific competitions like "BMET FEUD". Students also shared their field training experiences, and the day ended with a fun, educational quiz via the "Kahoot" app.

JUST Faculty of Engineering Hosts the National Day of the Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society

As part of the efforts of the Department of Biomedical Engineering to link the academic aspect with practical application, our students made a field visit to the health computing company Hakeem in Amman, one of the leading companies in the field of digital health systems. During the visit, the students learned about the latest technologies used in electronic healthcare management, and listened to a detailed explanation from the company’s team on how these systems are developed and used to improve medical services. The visit was a unique opportunity to enhance practical knowledge and broaden students’ horizons about the future of technology in the health sector.
