This course is a general mechanical course that demonstrates uses of general mechanical principles in biological approaches, specifically human body mechanics. It covers three main fields: 1. Application of statics and dynamics to simple force and moment analyses on whole body biomechanics. 2. Fundamentals of strength of materials and its application on the biomechanics of tissues and their deformation, in addition to an introduction to viscoelastic behavior and cellular biomechanics. 3. Applications of rigid body biomechanics on Human body movement. In addition to Anthropometry implementation in human body movement analysis.
