New Program in Aircraft Maintenance Technology Starting Fall 2024

​The Aircraft Maintenance Technology program concerns aircraft maintenance and its components, and how to deal with maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting problems in the aircraft on the ground. The Aircraft Maintenance Technology curriculum consists of approximately 8 semesters in 4 years. The curriculum contains topics that help the student maintain, repair, and solve problems encountered by the aircraft.

The Number of Credit hours: 135

International Program Fee: 200 US dollars per credit hour

Areas of work: Aircraft Maintenance Technology is a specialized field that includes the maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of aircraft systems and components. The career scope for technicians is very broad and offers a wide range of employment opportunities, including positions with airlines, maintenance and repair service providers, and aircraft manufacturers.

1.     Airline maintenance: Aircraft maintenance technicians can work for airline companies as maintenance technicians, responsible for maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing aircraft systems and components.

2.     Working for maintenance and repair service providers, which are companies that specialize in maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing aircraft for airlines and other customers.

3.     Aircraft manufacturing: Technicians can also work for aircraft manufacturers in the research, development, testing, and production of aircraft systems and components.

4.     Freelancing: Startups can also start their own shop or consulting service.

5.     Government Jobs: Technicians can also work in government organizations such as the Jordanian Air Force, Jordanian Navy, Jordan Airports Authority, Civil Aviation Regulatory Authority (CARC), etc.
