Objectives

• To provide theoretical and practical education and training for our students in basic oral sciences.
• To introduce undergraduate students to the basic principles in research methodology and to provide basic training on how to conduct, analyze and report research in various fields of dentistry.
• To provide up-to-date education and high standard clinical training in Oral Diagnosis, Oral Medicine and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for our students at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• To conduct research and publish high quality papers in internationally-reputable journals.
• To provide continuous dental education to dentists and dental auxiliaries in Jordan through formal talks, workshops and presentations at local and international conferences.
• To provide basic oral health care for Jordanians through our dental teaching clinics.
• To provide advanced and specialized oral health care for Jordanians and Arabs through our private specialty clinics at the Dental Teaching Center and King Abdulla University Hospital.
• To uphold oral health awareness among the Jordanians especially in low-leveled socio-economic regions.
