This is a clinical seminars course dealing with all types of diseases and abnormalities that affect the oral cavity and para-oral structures which have been studied through the previous oral medicine courses. The student will be trained to recognize and describe, in detail, the abnormality and then to formulate a provisional/differential diagnosis aided by the patient’s complaint, history of the complaint, medical and dental history provided by the instructor. There will discussion for various investigations that are needed to reach a definitive diagnosis. Subsequently the treatment/management modalities within the scope of oral medicine will be discussed.
