The course aims at providing the MSc fixed prosthodontics students with solid advanced knowledge in the following:

• Making clinical decisions, diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Management of severely worn dentition and full mouth rehabilitation.
• Advanced knowledge in updated treatment modalities, types of bridges and   new techniques.
• Applied practical knowledge in occlusion related to simple and advanced restorative dentistry.
• Biomechanical aspects of tooth preparation and marginal finish design.
• Adhesive techniques including resin-bonded bridges, inlays, onlays and porcalain laminate veneers.
• The  aesthetic considerations involved in fixed prothodontics
• The all ceramic technology and CAD/CAM technology
• Management of endontically treated teeth
• Biomechanics of single tooth  implants and bridges retained by implants
• Causes and management of failed fixed prostheses
