The Department of City Planning and Design is proud to welcome the first cohort of students to our Urban and Environmental Planning Engineering program—individuals who represent the next generation of innovative urban thinkers, city planners, and problem-solvers.
Through rigorous training and real-world applications, they will explore key areas highlighted by Jordan’s National Urban Policy such as environmental planning, climate resiliency, transportation systems, housing policy, and more.
As they progress through their studies, these future professionals will gain the skills needed to address the most pressing challenges faced by Jordanian cities today. From managing urban growth to fostering equitable development, their work will contribute directly to shaping the cities of tomorrow.
To the public sector, planning professionals, and our various partners: we invite you to engage with our department. Whether through internships, collaborative projects, or community initiatives, this cohort is eager to connect with the people and industries that make cities thrive.
Together, we can create impactful solutions and prepare the workforce that will lead the way in redefining urban spaces in Jordan for future generations.
Join us in welcoming our new cohort—building better cities begins here!
