As Jordan University of Science and Technology marks its third decade since its establishment in 1986, the Department of Architecture takes a reflective step back to assess its journey and evaluate its progress. We proudly highlight a new wave of achievements that are becoming increasingly evident. Over the past decade, a significant number of architects have graduated from our department, actively shaping the contemporary and future architectural landscape in Jordan.
Some of our recent graduates have joined our faculty as lecturers and researchers, while others have pursued advanced studies abroad, furthering our aspirations for a thriving 21st century.
The department encourages graduates, especially those interested in academic careers, to explore diverse fields within architectural sciences. Our goal is to cultivate architects with a broad range of theoretical knowledge and practical experience. This vision is reflected in the courses and workshops offered in both our undergraduate and graduate programs.
The introduction of graduate programs and proposed revisions to the undergraduate curriculum are pivotal milestones in our academic and administrative development. These efforts are expected to strengthen our resolve to produce highly skilled architects and researchers who are prepared to play a role in shaping a better future.
Moreover, the department has earned an outstanding reputation in Jordan and internationally, recognized as "the best architecture department in the region." This reputation is supported by testimonials from both Jordanians and international peers. Our graduates are highly sought after and are promptly employed by firms in Jordan, the Arabian Gulf, and beyond.
