​The Department of Optometry at the Jordan University of Science and Technology organized medical days inside the buildings of the university's faculties. The mobile optometry clinic activity was launched during the previous first semester in the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences. It was opened by the head of the Allied Medical Sciences Department, Dr. Maram Al-Akhras, with the participation of the teaching staff and optometry students, and in cooperation with Spencer.

The event included conducting vision examinations for university students and employees, providing eye-related medical advice, and clarifying the concepts of some common eye diseases and ways to prevent them.
