Jordan University of Science and Technology highlights responsible practices in the use of medicines
Jordan University of Science and Technology, Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, Anesthesia Technology program, in collaboration with the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) organized a distinguished scientific event titled “Enhancing Comprehensive Understanding and Responsible Practices for Anesthesia Technology and Allied Medical Specialties Students in Handling Medications (Sedatives, Stimulants, and Narcotics).” The event aimed to enhance students’ awareness of the safe and responsible use of medications while raising their understanding of the risks and safety measures involved in dealing with various pharmaceutical drugs, including sedatives, stimulants, and narcotics.
This event was held under the patronage of Professor Basheer Khassawneh, representing Professor Khalid Al-Salem, the University President, and with the support of the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Nihaya Al-Sheyab, and in the presence of the Dean of Student Affairs, a number of faculty and administrative staff members, university students, and interested people from the local community.
