​The faculty presently houses four academic departments. These are Allied Medical Sciences, Rehabilitation Sciences, Applied Dental Sciences, and Medical Laboratory Sciences​. The departments offer 4 year BSc degrees in nine exciting areas: Radiologic Technology, Optometry, Paramedics, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Audiology and Speech Pathology, Allied Dental Sciences, Dental Technology, and Medical Laboratory Sciences.

At the Master's Degree level, the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences offers 2 year MSc degrees in four disciplines, namely, Clinical Microbiology, Immunology, and Serology, Clinical Biochemistry, Diagnostic Molecular Biology and Human Genetics, Hematology and Blood Banking. The programs are course-work based with the option for student to choose between the Thesis Stream and the Comprehensive Exam Stream.​
