On the 18th of Nov the 4th year Allied Dental Sciences students participated under the supervision of the instructors Suhair Obeidat and Arwa Mahasneh in “The National Campaign for Cleanliness and Environmental Awareness for the City of Irbid”. This campaign was organized by Queen Rania Al-Abdullah Center for Environmental Sciences and Technology in collaboration with the Directorate of Irbid environment and Joint Services Council on the occasion of the Arab Environment Day. In this campaign environmental waste was removed from the sideways of the 5 km long JUST road.
Instructor Suhair Obeidat commented that the aim of this participation was to develop a sense of national belonging among students, to allow them to appreciate their active role in the community, and to raise the students' awareness of the importance of preserving the environment.
