Objectives

1.     Introduce the students to the physical therapy sciences as well as their disorders

2.     Train the students with direct exposure to actual cases at the physical therapy rehabilitation Clinics at King Abdulla University Hospital

3.     Provide students with clinical training on the skills of assessment, application of standardized testing, diagnosis and therapy of various disorders

4.    Orientation of the most up-to-date instrumentation used in the evaluation and testing of physical disorders

5.     Orient the students with professional and research challenges in the field

6.    Provide the students with high level teaching and professional training that enable them to pass the national and international licensure and board exams

2.   Train the students with direct exposure to actual cases at the Physical Dysfunction, Pediatrics and Mental Clinics at King Abdulla University Hospital, Albasheer Hospital, Alfuhais Hospital, Medical Royal center and Prince Basma Hospital.
   
3.   ​Provide students with clinical training on the skills of assessment, application of standardized testing, diagnosis and therapy of various Neurological, Orthopedics, and Psychiatry diseases.
   
4.   Orientation of the most up-to-date instrumentation used in the evaluation and testing of Physical and mental problems.
   
5.   Orient the students with professional and research challenges in the field
   
6.   Provide the students with high level teaching and professional training that enable them to pass the national and international licensure and board exams​
   

Outcomes

        A.   ​​Graduates must have the ability to apply knowledge of Occupational Therapy sciences

        B.   Graduates must be exposed to actual cases in Occupational Therapy.

        C.    Graduates must be trained to assess and apply standardized testing to diagnose various Neurological,  Orthopedics, and Psychiatry diseases.

        D.   ​Graduates must have the ability to use the most up-to-date instruments that are used to evaluate Physical and mental problems.
