Management of gynecologic emergencies, management of complications associated with pregnancies, management of deliveries (normal, abnormal and complicated), and the care provided immediately post-delivery to both; mother and its newborn. Fetal monitoring and transitional phase between intrauterine and extra-uterine lives will be discussed as well. Students will have the opportunity to participate in normal and abnormal obstetrical problems at the clinical and/or preclinical environment as possible
