The Hydroponic Agriculture and Employment Development Project in Agriculture Faculty (The training of trainers)
The
Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Kamel Zuhdi, concluded the
first session of the training of trainers series in the Hydroponic
Agriculture and Employment Development Project (HAED), funded by the
Dutch government and implemented by ECO Consult and a group of Dutch
institutions (HollandDoor, Wageningen University, Bureau Leeters) in
order to create a nucleus of qualified trainers in the field of
hydroponics and post-harvest operations, which aims to raise the
capacity of workers in this field and to transfer knowledge to students
and farmers in neighbouring local communities. As well as in maximizing
agricultural production in quantity and quality.
