Vision

The Faculty of Agriculture strives to be a leading institution in education, research, and leadership across the fields of food, agriculture, and environmental sciences—both within Jordan and globally.

Mission

The Faculty is committed to providing high-quality agricultural education, scientific research, and extension programs that support sustainable agriculture. Our mission is to meet local needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs. We aim to prepare well-qualified graduates, enhance knowledge and skills, and promote the sustainable use of natural and agricultural resources, while strengthening the resilience and development of local communities.

Objectives

To graduate students equipped with the scientific knowledge and practical skills needed to serve the agricultural sectors in Jordan and the wider Arab region.
To develop and advance graduate programs, enabling students to engage in scientific agricultural research and apply its methodologies effectively.
To conduct fundamental and applied agricultural research aimed at enhancing the productivity of Jordan's agricultural sector, while ensuring the optimal use and sustainability of natural, agricultural, and food resources, and protecting the environment.
To serve the local community by making the Faculty's expertise accessible to stakeholders in the agricultural field and society at large.
