The Department of Plant Production has two fundamental missions:

• Generating new scientific knowledge in agriculture and spreading and using this knowledge through education and extension to improve the life quality of our society through more efficient and diversified crop production.

• Graduating students with excellent working skills capable of increasing the agricultural productivity in Jordan and the quality of our food.​​
