The Department was established in 1996 after the Department of Nutrition and Animal Production (established in September 1990) had been divided into two different departments; Department of Animal Production and Department of Nutrition and Food Technology. The Department offers Bachelor Degree in Nutrition and Food Technology. The Master's degree started in 2003 in two programs: 1. Nutritional Sciences 2. Food Technology
