Water retention and transport in soil. Soil-plant-atmosphere continuum. Physical, biochemical, and environmental processes in soil-plant-water relations. Plant roots and water flux in the soil-root continuum, Evapotranspiration, Water use efficiency. Response of plants to environmental stresses.
