The college of Veterinary Medicine participates in a program aimed at improving health care in animals working in heritage areas.

Faculty members and a group of students participated in a program for the treatment of animals working in Petra Tourism Development Authority.  This program aims to raise the level of health care for these animals, reflecting a civilized image of the use and welfare of these animals.  The team carried out many surgeries and treatment of cases of colic and lameness and wounds and others.

This was held in the period Wednesday – Thursday 9-10 October 2019.

​​شارك أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية ومجموعة من الطلبة في الكلية في برنامج لمعالجة الحيوانات العاملة في منطقة البتراء وذلك بالتعاون مع مؤسسة الأميرة عالية و سلطة اقليم البتراء التنموي السياحي حيث يهدف هذا البرنامج إلى رفع مستوى العناية الصحية لهذه الحيوانات مما يعكس صورة حضارية بحيثيات استخدام هذه الحيوانات والرفق بها وقام الفريق بعمل العديد من العمليات الجراحية ومعالجة حالات المغص والعرج والجروح وغيرها وذلك يومي  الاربعاء والخميس 9-10 - أكتوبر 2019.
