​Professor Dr. Maysar Omar Al-Akash, Secretary General of the Scientific Society of Arab Veterinary Medicine Faculties, participated in the work of the twenty-second annual meeting of the institutions of the Union of Arab Universities, which was held with the generous hosting of the Libyan Open University in Tripoli, Libya, during the period from 20-23/1/2026.

The meeting, which included educational institutions and scientific societies affiliated with the Association of Arab Universities, witnessed a review of the Association’s strategic plan, in addition to discussing the most prominent achievements and challenges facing these institutions.

Dr. Al-Akash also gave a brief presentation on the activities of the Scientific Society of Arab Veterinary Colleges during 2025, highlighting the most important achievements of the Society, in addition to the challenges that stand in its way.​
