The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine organizes an introductory activity for school students as part of School Activity Day.
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Jordan University of Science and Technology organized a School Activity Day event during the period from 27-29/10/2025, during which it hosted a number of schools in Irbid Governorate, including Rofan, Al-Sarmad and Al-Qimma schools.
The activity included a field visit for school students to the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, where the students learned about the nature of veterinary work up close, became acquainted with the different departments of the hospital, and the efforts made by the veterinary staff in providing health care for animals, in addition to the modern scientific equipment used in training, education and medical services.
During the event, an educational lecture was given to the students about the veterinary profession and its importance in serving humanity and society.
This activity is part of the college's efforts to raise community awareness about the veterinary profession, highlight the role of veterinarians in serving the community and protecting human and animal health, and encourage school students to explore scientific disciplines and broaden their future horizons.
