​Prof. Dr. participated Maysar Al-Akash, Dean of the College, at the opening of the regional workshop entitled “Enhancing the diagnostic capabilities of anthrax with a focus on pathology and epidemiology,” which was held under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Islam Massad, President of Yarmouk University, at Yarmouk University during the period from 10/28/2024 - 10/29/ 2024 and coordinated by Professor Dr. Nabil Hailat.

In her speech, Dr. Al-Akash spoke about the vital role of veterinary medicine in promoting the concept of One Health, which links various efforts to limit the spread of diseases in the human health sector, the environment and animal health. At the end of her speech, Dr. Al-Akash thanked the organizers of the workshop and the supporters of such projects that benefit not only our country, Jordan, but also the entire region.​
