Al-Majali represents the Animal Health Organization in the Middle East
The Director-General of the World Organization for Animal Health, Monique Allot, decided to appoint Professor Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Al-Majali as the representative of the organization in the Middle East region.
Dr. Al-Majali said that appointment is made through a competition between experts and placements by permanent representatives in Middle Eastern countries.
Dr. Al-Majali added that the organization’s office is responsible for assisting Middle Eastern countries in all areas related to animal health, single health, food security, and biosecurity. He stated that the organization seeks to equip countries to improve animal production and facilitate international trade.
It is noteworthy that Dr. Al-Majali is the first Jordanian to be appointed as a representative of the World Organization for Animal Health for the Middle East.
