​The Scientific Association of Arab Faculties of Veterinary Medicine held its annual meeting on Friday, April 26, 2024, headed by the Secretary-General of the Scientific Association of Arab Faculties of Veterinary Medicine, Prof. Dr. Samih Muhammad Abu Tarboush / Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, which was held in Hurghada - Arab Republic of Egypt in conjunction with the second scientific conference of the Egyptian Poultry Forum Foundation during the period 24 - 27/4/2024.

In the presence of the deans of the faculties of veterinary medicine in Egypt, Libya, Iraq, and Oman, many topics were discussed during the meeting, the most important of which was the discussion of the association’s activities during the past year and future ambitions to activate the role of the association and activate student exchange between Arab colleges, especially during the period of clinical training, and the financial and administrative report of the association. .

The deans expressed their thanks and appreciation for the efforts made by the General Secretariat to raise the level of veterinary education in the Arab world.​
