The European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE) visits the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST).

During the period from 28/11/2021 to 2/12/2021, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine received a delegation from The European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE) in the initial consultative visit to the faculty, as part of the procedures followed to obtain the Association's accreditation for the faculty.

The delegation made several tours in the faculty and the university. The delegation visited the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, the Veterinary Health Center, the Animal House building, the Research and Training department ( The Agriculture Station - the Faculty of Agriculture). As well as,  they visited the Research and Teaching Station in the Faculty of Agriculture. Also, their visits included the Centennial  Library, the Gymnasium, and Princess Haya Center for Biotechnology.

The delegation met with Prof. Dr. Sarhan Haddad, Vice President of the University, who stressed the importance of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in the university and the region and the importance of proceeding with the procedures for obtaining the European accreditation, which will positively affect the faculty's performance and reputation.

The delegation also met former deans of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, faculty members, members of the administrative staff, students, and a number of faculty graduates to talk about matters related to the college and its students.

Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa, Dean of the faculty, and Prof. Dr. Mohammad Obaidat, EAEVE Liaison officer and Rapporteur of EAEVE in the faculty, stressed the importance of this visit, which is the first step to obtaining European accreditation, as a report will be prepared from this delegation that includes their observations to enhance the faculty's chance of obtaining European accreditation.
