The College of Veterinary Medicine organizes a free veterinary medical day for pets.
On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, the College of Veterinary Medicine at the Jordan University of Science and Technology organized a free veterinary medical day for pets at the college's Veterinary Teaching Hospital. This day was organized as part of the college's efforts to serve the local community and promote veterinary health awareness. Free medical examinations, diagnosis, and initial treatment were provided to numerous pets from various regions by a team of veterinarians, faculty members, and clinical students. The medical day was well attended. A group of pet owners attended the event, where dozens of cases were examined and treated. Necessary health advice and guidance were provided to pet owners, and veterinary medications were provided in some cases.
Prof. Dr. Maysar Al-Akash, Dean of the College, emphasized that this event is part of a series of community activities organized by the College with the aim of strengthening the relationship between
the university and the community, developing students' practical skills, and contributing to improving animal health in the Kingdom.
