The student will be exposed to fertilization starting from ovum and sperm development until zygote formation, implantation inside the uterus and comparison between chick and pig development. Besides, this course will cover factors that lead to congenital anomalies with description of some acquired defects due to development. Also, development of different body systems will be addressed.
