Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) is among the Top 400 in the World In an impressive progress in global rankings, JUST has risen a total of 50 points in the prestigious Times Higher Ed (THE) World University Ranking for the year 2019 to become one of the best 400 universities globally. This great news was published in the latest edition of the THE rankings for the year 2019 that placed JUST in the 351-400 category. The president of JUST, Prof. Saeb Khreisat, responded to this great news saying that this new advanced rank represents a historic accomplishment for the Jordanian higher education sector and provides a solid evidence that we are on the right track. Prof. Khreisat added that with all the cross-campus joy that comes with this achievement, JUST looks forward to achieving even more and that this global recognition of JUST didn’t come by chance and wouldn’t have been possible without vigorous planning and the level of commitment and dedication by all JUST staff all along its history since its inception in 1986. Prof. Khreisat concluded with calling upon all JUST staff to keep up the good work to advance even more, adding that with this accomplishment, JUST has set itself as a national success Jordanian story and lays a cornerstone for achieving one of its own strategic directions, as well as contributing to the pursuit of establishing Jordan as a regional and international higher education hub.
