PharmD student Enas Khazaleh represented JUST at Amman Design Week 2017
Student Enas Khazaleh from the faculty of pharmacy has participated in the first ever Amman Design Week Student Exhibition under the theme "Design Moves Life Moves Design" that was held during the period 6th-14th October, with the support of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah.
Enas joined 20 design students from different universities and schools across the country to take part in a mentorship program to develop their ideas into tangible design works, and showcase their work during the event.
Since graphic design has always been her life's passion and favorite hobby, Enas has participated in the exhibition as a graphic designer. She used conceptual art to install her graphic design piece in 3D. Titled "My Unlimited Universe", Enas's project was inspired by her life experiences. The artwork depicts a futuristic representation of self; accomplishing goals, overcoming obstacles, challenging common perception and taking the concept of ambitions into a whole new level that's out of this entire universe, so named "my unlimited universe", indicating unlimited dreams, challenges and ambitions. The poster was printed on plexi-glass and cut into 70 pieces scattered in 3D, but they complete each other from a specific angle and distance, which emphasizes that one will never reach his perfection until he collects himself first.
Focused on creating a forum for learning, exchange and collaboration, Amman Design Week empowers designers through the cross-pollination of communities and ideas, and it will continue to grow annually to become a hallmark for educational and cultural programming in the city, establishing Jordan as a recognized hub for design, creativity and modern Arab culture.
