Strategic Objectives of the Office

The main goal of the Career Guidance Office is to contribute to providing a suitable university environment for students to learn and acquire experiences and skills that enhance their employability. This is achieved by offering guidance services that provide advice and support, helping students understand the qualifications and requirements related to their career paths in various fields according to labor market demands, and enhancing partnerships between the public and private sectors, universities, and profit and non-profit organizations.

Firstly: Developing and Enhancing Student Skills through Training and Guidance:

-Identifying the needs and requirements of the labor market and job opportunities.

-Developing and enhancing students' skills and abilities through training programs to match the needs of the Jordanian and international labor markets.

-Guiding students to jobs that match their skills, abilities, and psychological and social characteristics.

-Providing individual and group guidance to students to enhance their skills and solve problems affecting their efficiency upon graduation.

-Offering group guidance to students to increase their skills in obtaining jobs.

Secondly: Activities and Partnerships (Networking):

-Facilitating student training during their studies in public, private, and non-profit organizations.

-Creating volunteer opportunities for students inside and outside the university.

-Securing appropriate funding to implement projects.

-Organizing career day exhibitions.

-Building relationships with related companies.

Thirdly: Follow-Up on Graduates:

-Providing data and information about graduates for use in specialized studies.

-Monitoring the employment status of graduates to track the success of university graduates in obtaining job opportunities.

-Leveraging graduates' work and project experiences to develop current students.

-Increasing the connection of graduates with their university through alumni seminars and conferences.

-Securing permanent job opportunities for students after graduation through networking.

-Providing practical training opportunities aimed at employment (Internship) in coordination with networking.​
