Career counseling in all its forms aims to guide and guide students through the various stages of study, to choose the appropriate specialization and the appropriate profession for the student based on his capabilities, mental and physical aptitudes, and his educational and career tendencies, and through career counseling, we can achieve the following goals:
Guiding the student during the first semester on the appropriate specialization in accordance with his capabilities and professional inclinations and encouraging him to change his specialization if possible - in accordance with the laws and legislations regulating the principles of admission to universities
- Identifying the strengths and weaknesses in the personal and social skills that the student may face during the study stages, and working on acquiring these skills, which will increase his self-confidence and help him with employment in the future.
Guiding the graduate student on the appropriate profession and in accordance with his capabilities and professional inclinations and in line with the needs and requirements of the labor market
Forms of career counseling
Individual career counseling:
Individual career counseling aims to establish a professional relationship between the mentor and the student to obtain information and data about the individual and interpret this information and data afterwards to help understand the behavior and personality of the student, to help him know himself, his problem, if any, and how to overcome it. The individual counseling also includes the implementation of psychological tests - namely Several tests that measure individual abilities, such as: aptitude tests, aptitudes, personality and tendencies, to help the student choose his career path.
Group career counseling:
It aims to guide students with the needs of the labor market, positive work behaviors, the skills required by employers, and the challenges facing students in the labor market. It also includes group career counseling to address a problem or challenge facing a group of students, where they are guided in a collective way to transform their behavior to the positive side.
Electronic Individual Career Counseling
Electronic individual career counseling aims to provide counseling services to the student electronically to help understand the behavior and personality of the student and help him know himself, his problem, if any, and how to overcome it. The electronic individual counseling also includes the implementation of psychological tests - which are several tests that measure individual abilities such as: competency tests, preparations and personality and tendencies, to help the student choose his career path.
