The counseling and disabled students office is the university's primary facility for personal counseling, psychological outreach and disabled students services. The primary goal of the office is to help students develop the personal awareness and skills necessary to overcome problems and to grow and develop in ways that will allow them to take advantage of the educational and extracurricular opportunities at the university.
Issues pertaining to Study Skills, Personal Relationships and disabled students needs have been the most commonly discussed in the office. Other topics include: Anxiety, Stress, Depression and integration. Students coming into the office for service are usually seeking more effective and rewarding lives by confronting personal problems, skill development issues, or value questions.
