The Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), represented by its Assistant Dean for Scientific Research, Dr. Anas Al-Makhzoumi, participated in the press conference launching the 28th cycle of the Scientific Research Award for Jordanian University Students for 2026. The award is organized by the Center for Middle Eastern Studies in cooperation with the University of Jordan, JUST, Yarmouk University, Zarqa University, and Philadelphia University.

Dr. Bayan Al-Omari, Vice Chairman of the Higher Committee overseeing the award, stated today, in the presence of Dr. Anas Al-Makhzoumi, Assistant Dean for Scientific Research at JUST, and Dr. Adam Al-Amawi, Assistant Dean for Scientific Research at the University of Jordan, that the award primarily aims to provide students in all Jordanian universities with opportunities to think and research a number of political, economic, strategic, intellectual, and cultural topics and issues relevant to local, Arab, Islamic, and international realities. It also aims to create a competitive scientific environment among them in the fields of scientific research and knowledge production, encouraging them to produce research and studies that equip them with the tools of scientific inquiry and enable them to propose possible solutions.
