The Urban95 Studio project at JUST invites applications for a Teaching Assistant to support the implementation of project.
About the Project
The Urban95 Studio project, funded by the Van Leer Foundation, aims to integrate the needs and experiences of young children and their caregivers into university education related to urban planning, design, health, and the built environment. The project brings together faculty and students from different disciplines to explore how neighborhoods, streets, public spaces, mobility systems, services, and everyday environments can better support the health, development, safety, participation, mobility, play, and well-being of young children and their caregivers.
The project includes the development and delivery of an interdisciplinary elective Urban95 course, a design studio, faculty learning and capacity-building activities, engagement with local stakeholders, and the development of educational tools and resources that can support future teaching and practice.
