Department of Studies and Planning
About the Department:
The department established in 2016, under the title " Studies and Planning Office", where it is role focused in the strategic planning process, to keep abreast of developments, exploit opportunities and confront threats and challenges leading to the achievement of the established goals.
It also monitors the implementation of the strategic plan and evaluates its achievement through performance indicators developed in partnership with all faculties, centers, units and administrative departments.
In addition to that, providing studies and data on the various faculties and departments of the University to support decision-making at the University Presidency.
Department of Studies and Planning Functions:
1- Participation in the preparation of draft strategic plans and operational plans.
2- Follow-up on the implementation of the outputs of the University's strategic plan and link the planning and performance measurement processes by comparing performance with predetermined indicators and targets.
3- Follow-up the preparation of achievement ratio reports at the level of objectives, programs and projects with all faculties and units, and submit quarterly or biannual reports and recommendations to the presidency, with a view to addressing deviations and imbalances.
4- Assist academic faculties and administrative units in the development of their strategic and operational plans.
5- Facilitate data collection and calculation of performance indicators for the university's strategic plans for faculties and units.
6- Follow-up on the achievements of academic faculties and administrative units in accordance with the University's strategic plan by measuring performance and ensuring the efficiency of these achievements.
