Overview about the Department of National Qualifications Framework

​The Department of National Qualifications Program emanated from the Jordan National Qualifications Framework which is a hierarchical classification of all types of qualifications and certificates associated with formal and informal education programs in Jordan to define the knowledge, skills and competencies that should be related to such qualifications. The aim of the department is to ensure quality and relevance of all levels of qualifications and to set standards based on learning outcomes to safeguard educational programs that lead to qualifications. The ultimate target of such precise alignment is to maintain the ability to develop, evaluate and improve the quality of education in liaison with nationally recognized qualifications framework.
